ArtFest 2010

ArtFest 2010 has come and gone, and I look back on it with much fondness and love. My teachers were great again this year and celebrating my BFF's big 5-0 only added to the crazy fun times.

Of course, we started celebrating right away with cake...

flowers....
and more flowers.

Good eats (the shots above and below are from the Fountain Cafe in Port Townsend, which had the 2nd best crème brulée of the trip)...

...and beautiful and delicious coffees from the Undertown, who's front door was cleverly disguised as Port Townsend's only subway entrance.

There were fabulous wigs...

...and red velvet cupcakes.

Did I mention the strategically placed flyers, notifying all of the celebration?

Front row on Wednesday night, y'all!

Hey, who took this picture?

Friday's class was a blast with Jesse Reno. I loved it!!

He's a funny guy and an enlightening teacher.

I was lucky enough to have Misty on both Thursday and Saturday. She's a very kind and patient teacher...thank goodness!

These are shots of some pages she was demoing during our Saturday class, Freshly Renovated.

If you ever have the opportunity to take a class from Misty, DO IT!!(!!!)

A Saturday view from Washington Street, PT.

One last yummy dinner out....in Seattle at the Dahlia Lounge.

It was all good but OMG, have the crème brulée--THE BEST I have ever had in my life!!

It was a wonderful time!! Tomorrow I am expecting delivery of the huge canvas that I worked on in my Thursday class and I will be back with photos of that and my little painting from Jesse's class! HooRAY!
